Week 2 Objectives:

  • Continue learning and practicing AWS services related to network connectivity and security.
  • Practice SSH into private instances using Instance Connect Endpoint.
  • Practice RDGW (Remote Desktop Gateway) lab in a Linux environment.
  • Complete Module 2 and begin reviewing Module 3.

Week 2 Achievements:

  • Mastered SSH connection to private instances through Instance Connect Endpoint without requiring a bastion host/public instance.

  • Successfully completed the Remote Desktop Gateway (RDGW) lab on a Linux environment using FreeRDP.

  • Verified correct DNS Resolution behavior within a VPC environment.

  • Cleaned up AWS resources after each lab to avoid unnecessary costs.

  • Completed the final lab of Module 2 and acquired an overview of Module 3 content to prepare for the following week.
